The Full Story
About me
If you're new here...
Perimenopausal, witchy, coffee drinker, traveller, old soul, young spirit, curious, adventurous, Icelandic, mother, author, artist, and a good friend to my circle of soul sisters.
I believe in the power of honesty—with ourselves and each other; and fiercely protecting your freedom. Through my photography and collages, I try to capture vulnerability and self-acceptance, often butt naked in Icelandic nature, learning to love every version of myself. Through my writing, I explore what it means to be human and a woman.
I also lead women's circles here in Iceland, where I hold space for connection, healing, and remembering our sacred power. Annually I along with a friend lead witchy-yoga retreats, I guide women on pilgrimages of self-discovery and magic to Edinburgh, Scotland during Beltane.
I love love love traveling in my camper van, Bjartur Steinn (Bright Stone), where I seek solitude in Iceland's raw landscapes—swimming naked in hot springs and freezing ocean , photographing myself in nature, and remembering who I am when no one's watching. I honor the magic in everyday life; rituals, intuition, and the sacredness of being alive.
Thread that ties it all together? Opening conversations. Normalizing the full spectrum of human experience. Helping people feel seen, accepted, and a little less alone.
That's me. That's my work. And if something here speaks to you—
VERTU HJARTANLEGA VELKOMIN (in short: a heartfelt welcome).

Beyond the Work
When I'm not photographing, writing, facilitating circles, leading retreats, or lecturing internationally, you might find me:
-
Finding creative ways to reduce food waste (I'm passionate about sustainability)
-
Hosting my closest friends for coffee and cake
-
Planning my next adventure (abroad or here)
-
Bathing naked in a remote hot spring under the midnight sun
-
Simply being grateful for this wild, beautiful life
I believe in joy, connection, and living fully, values that infuse everything I create.

Magic, Spirituality, &
Intuitive Practice
I don't separate my work from my spirituality—they're woven from the same thread.
My practice includes:
-
Intuitive guidance – Listening to what wants to be seen and said
-
Ritual and ceremony – Marking transitions, honoring cycles, calling in what's needed
-
Connection to the elements – Earth, water, fire, air as teachers and allies
-
The magic of being alive – Recognizing the sacred in the ordinary
I truly believe we are magical beings living a human experience. My role is simply to help people remember that.
